Men in Health & Education (MHE) is an affinity group at the University of Minnesota, Rochester. MHE is open to all and centers the lived experiences of students, faculty and staff who identify as men at UMR. By creating a space for such conversations, MHE strives to promote student belonging, well-being & persistence to graduation, advocacy for men’s mental and physical health and employee retention. Activities may include group discussions, staff/faculty mentorship for students, diversity dialogues, games, sports & more. As a result, we hope to highlight representation & normalize participation of men in health & education, so that students who identify as male feel a sense of belonging and see themselves in health & education.

The purpose of Raptor Trails shall be to create a group and environment that allows individuals of all abilities to spend time outdoors, hiking the trails of Southeast Minnesota and beyond while being stewards of the environment. The ability to be outside is something we consider to be a right everyone should have. Physical ability or skill level should not prove to be barriers, so part of our mission is to help everyone access the outdoors however they can, and ensure that the outdoors are properly maintained and healthy.
