Mission
The purpose of this group is to inform and prepare UMR students for the application process of medical school, build a community of like-minded students that allows participants to comfortably share their experiences as well as their concerns or fears, and host events and meetings that focus on skill development and gaining leadership experience. Along with this, our group will provide students with connections with peers and upperclassmen, allowing for personal growth in academics as well as in professional development and support of first-generation and underrepresented students.

Membership Benefits
The Pre-Med Club will benefit members in the following ways:
- Host events that aid in connecting fellow pre-med students
- Provide safe spaces to talk about the challenges of being on the pre-med track
- Connect underclassmen to upperclassmen who may be in need of an undergraduate mentor
